NJ Blues and Jazz Festival

Here are a few images I shot for the State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ on Saturday, September 26, 2009. This was the last night of their Blues and Jazz Festival and the performers were Grammy award-winning jazz fusion quartet, Yellowjackets. The set up was really interesting. The backstage area was turned into a nightclub with tables and chairs—which they called the Backstage Jazz Club. The band was on the stage, but they were facing the backstage area. The results were a very intimate setting for great music.
